Sightseeing and Tours
The Mausoleum was built in the years from 1860 to 1869 for the Archduke Johann; it was his whish to be buried in Schenna. The neo-gothic building is made of red sandstone and the crypt of granit. In the upper part of the Mausoleum there is the Johannes Chapel and underneath it the tomb with the white marble sarcophagus. From the Mausoleum you can enjoy a wonderful view over the valley and the surrounding mountains.
